My entry for Traditionalists Traditional Threes Contest #2 ~ watercolor/blue/passion
This is probably the fastest painting I've ever done, from conception to completion: two and a half days. Granted, it's small, but still. An accomplishment is an accomplishment, right?
I really wanted to enter this contest (watercolors! the color blue! two of my favorite things) but wasn't quite sure what to paint until I came across this stunning photo from HelloDearThomas . I'm pleased with how it turned out and what's more, I really enjoyed painting this.
