Watercolor on Arches cold-pressed 140 lbs, 5" x 7", December 2017.
A quick little painting to finish out the year. I have the photo that inspired this as my computer's wallpaper right now, and it's so pretty I felt the urge to paint it. (I can't remember where I found the original reference photo, if it looks familiar please let me know so I can properly credit). It was really nice to do a fun and spontaneous painting instead of overthinking and belaboring them the way I tend to do. Happy New Year, everyone, may it be bright and full of color!
